Program Planning Meeting February 4th – Save the date!
The League’s annual Program Planning meeting will be held on Saturday, February 4, from 9 am to noon. It is tentatively scheduled to be held at the Montezuma Masonic Lodge 431 Paseo De Peralta Santa Fe, NM 87501. This is one of our most important meetings, as it sets the program agenda for the coming year and considers whether to undertake new studies.
In addition to making decisions about our local program for the upcoming year, we must review and approve or recommend changes in the positions taken by the local (LWVSFC) and national (LWVUS) Leagues. All of this work will be done using a consensus decision-making model.
In preparation for the discussion, please take the time to review the local and national positions, which are included in the 2011-12 Member Handbook, pages 4 and 18. If you wish to propose a study download the form below. Your completed form should be e-mailed toprogram@lwvsfc.org or mailed to LWVSFC Attn: Program, 1472 St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505-4038. The deadline for submitting proposals is January 31st.
